Hello! We are Margarita — a Mexican cantina in Kanazawa. Enjoy authentic Mexican dishes such as tacos, quesadillas, and steaks. We also offer vegetarian and vegan options, as well as local Kanazawa craft beer.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome, but we recommend making a reservation during weekends and peak hours.

Are taxes and service charges included?

Yes, all prices include tax.Please note that we charge a small table fee of ¥350 per person, which includes a light appetizer.This is a common practice in Japanese Cantina.

Do you have vegetarian or vegan options?

Yes, we offer several vegetarian and vegan dishes. Please let us know your dietary preferences.

Is the food spicy?

Most of the dishes are not spicy. There are some dishes that contain spicy ingredients such as jalapenos, but you can generally adjust the spiciness with the salsa served with the appetizer or the habanero sauce provided on the table.

What’s the difference between Tortillas / Tacos / Quesadillas / Totopos / Nachos / Fajitas?

Tortillas A very thin bread-like dough made from corn flour or wheat flour.
Tacos Tacos are a dish where meat and vegetables are wrapped in a tortilla and eaten by hand.
Quesadillas Quesadillas are tortillas filled with cheese and other ingredients, then grilled until crispy. They are similar to a thin, folded pizza.
Totopos Totopos are that are cut and fried to make crispy chips.
Nachos Nachos are crispy totopos topped with melted cheese and various dips or toppings.
Fajitas Mexican steak marinated in our original sauce. We offer pork, chicken, and beef(Arrachera).
